Although he’s only played in this country for one season, Diego Costa has had a big impact on the Premier League. Jose Mourinho knew he needed a striker if he wanted to challenge Man City for the league last summer so he went and bought Costa for £32 million from Atletico Madrid. He scored 21 league goals and, had he not have been plagued by his hamstring injury for the last 10 games, he probably would have won the Golden Boot.

These strikes marched Chelsea to the top of the table and helped bring the trophy back to Stamford Bridge. The 26-year-old hasn’t started this season as well but expect him to start firing them home in the not to distant future.
