Arsene Wenger finally decided to put his hand in his pocket to secure the arrival of Chilean international Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona. He cost the Gunners £35 million and became their second most expensive signing in their history, but he has lived up to expectations.
The 26-year-old had a great debut year, scoring 16 goals in the Premier League and 25 goals in all competitions, one of them being in the 4-0 FA Cup final win over Aston Villa. The scary thing is Wenger thinks there’s even more to come from the Chilean.
