2. Mauro Icardi (Inter Milan)

Icardi is a wanted man

Even after signing a new four year contract in the summer, Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi has expressed his desire to leave the Italian side to explore the option of the Premier League. Liverpool are one of the favourites to sign the Argentina international, but Jose Mourinho is also thought to be keeping an eye on the player who’s finding the net on a regular basis at his old club. The 22-year-old scored 27 times last season and has followed that up with six this term, despite being a substitute on a handful of occasions. With the unpredictable Roberto Mancini in charge at the San Siro it’s difficult to tell what the pair’s relationship is like, meaning a move to the Premier League could be a possibility come January.
