However, after Portugal failed to progress from the group stages at the 2014 World Cup, the Portuguese captain will need to be in fine form to ensure that this does not happen again.

In the group stages; Portugal will face Hungary, Iceland and Austria, and on paper, you get the feeling that the Real Madrid star should have no trouble in topping the scorer’s chart.
