Whilst Poland have been drawn in the same group as holders Germany, they will be quietly confident of advancing from the group stages.

There will be an opportunity for goals in the games against Ukraine and Northern Ireland; and, as Europe’s most in-form striker, Lewandowski won’t need to be asked twice to find the back of the net.

Lewandowski was the top goalscorer in the qualifications stage of Euro 2016 (13 goals) and topped the scoring chart in the Bundesliga this season too (30 goals).

In the race for the Golden Boot, the Bayern Munich striker cannot be ignored.
