1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Sweden)

Who else could be in the top spot? Sweden are once again entering the play-offs for a major tournament, having missed out on the last World Cup after losing to Portugal at this stage. Zlatan claimed Brazil 2014 wouldn’t be a proper one without him and he may well say the same about the Euros, and who can blame him? Fifty-nine goals for Sweden in 109 appearances speaks for itself and he has just become Paris Saint Germain’s all-time top goalscorer, overtaking Portuguese great Pauleta. Should he guide his nation to victory over Scandinavian rivals Denmark, England will be hoping to avoid Zlatan, as who can forget the four goals he netted past them the last time they met in 2012, including ‘that’ overhead kick.
