1) Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

Sergio Aguero scored twice in City’s 4-0 win against Crystal Palace last weekend.

He may be the most expensive player in the game, currently valued at £13.3m, but the Argentine striker looked back to his best against Crystal Palace last weekend, and it is definitely worthwhile forking out the cash for him.

It has been another injury-hit campaign for Aguero, but usually when he plays he scores, and that was the case against the Eagles when he netted twice, before unselfishly giving up the chance to get his hat-trick by providing an assist for team-mate David Silva instead.

So, go with some cheaper options in defence and make sure you get Aguero in your team because, if he stays fit, he will bring goals and assists, without question.
