3. N’Golo Kante

There can be no denying that Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez have been the heroes of Leicester City’s season, but it simply is not possible to drag a team to the top of the table without efforts from all across the pitch. N’Golo Kante has unquestionably been the club’s unsung player of the season.

The Frenchman signed for the Foxes at the start of the season from Ligue 1 side Caen and has featured in all but one Premier League fixture so far. His midfield partnership with Daniel Drinkwater has provided a solid platform on which they have been able to build a strong core. And it is due to his impressive form that the 24 year-old is inevitably about to earn his first call-up to the French national side.
