Another man who has history at Chelsea under Abramovich, Hiddink could be an option in the short-term. Having left his post as Holland manager in the summer, the 68-year-old is currently a free agent and could do a deal to take the club to the end of the season, something he did back in 2009 when he guided the club to an FA Cup triumph. This would allow the Blues time to wait for someone they’d really want (Guardiola). Hiddink would also be a popular choice with the fans after the success he brought six years ago.
