1. Liverpool 3-3 Manchester United (January 4, 1994)
If the Premier League was looking for a game to show the true excitement of their new league this game had it all. United took a 3-0 lead after 25 minutes before Liverpool mounted one the most remarkable comebacks ever with Neil Ruddock completing the turnaround after two Ian Rush goals. Little did the Reds know how their rivals would go on to dominate the league over the next 20 years and that the “come back when you’ve won 18” would return to haunt them.
