3. Christian Eriksen (Denmark)
The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder is the main man for his national team and despite not scoring during qualifying, his country’s hopes will be on his shoulders. The Danes suffered an average campaign at best but will be looking to players like the 23-year-old to see off Scandinavian rivals Sweden and sneak them through to France, where they will look to replicate their shock 1992 victory. Eriksen is known for producing when it matters for Spurs, however he has netted just six times for his national team in over 50 appearances. Now would be a good time to start putting that right.
