Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth will be confident of pulling off a shock against Premier League opposition.

Bottom of the Premier League table with just one win from 20 games and staring relegation in the face, Aston Villa certainly won’t be looking forward to their trip to League Two high-flyers Wycombe on Saturday.

Remi Garde’s side have no confidence, and lost their last two matches against teams around them in the standings – Norwich City and Sunderland.

It already looks like the Villans will require a miracle if they are to stay up this season, but maybe they can get a much-needed boost from a win in the FA Cup.

Wanderers will certainly have something to say about that though, and they have good giant-killing pedigree after beating League One Millwall 2-1 away in the previous round. As well as that, they reached the semi-final stage in 2001, seeing off Wolves, Wimbledon and, most famously, Leicester City, thanks to a late goal from Roy Essandoh.

All football fans that love a cup upset will be keeping a close eye on Adams Park at lunchtime on Saturday.
