3. Islam Slimani

Leicester City secured a Deadline Day deal by agreeing a club record fee of £29.7m pounds for Sporting Lisbon forward Slimani.

The 28-year-old signed on a five-year deal and joins Ahmed Musa, Nampalys Mendy, Ron Zieler and others as a summer signing for the Premier League Champions.

The Algerian striker scored 27 goals last season and also scored twice at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil as Algeria reached the knockout stages for the first time.

Slimani should be a great addition to Claudio Ranieri’s squad and he will be able to link up with Algerian teammate Riyad Mahrez.
