This move could go right down to the wire as it appears that Liverpool are unlikely to pay the £35 million that Shakhtar Donetsk are asking for.

Teixeira has revealed his frustration since the club rejected an offer from the Merseyside club and has openly stated that he wants a move to the Premier League.

The Brazil international has already scored 22 goals this season and with Danny Ings, Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge all currently sidelined, Jurgen Klopp will be keen to bring extra attacking power to Anfield in order to support Christian Benteke.
