Leicester City moved three points clear at the top of the Premier League after they defeated Stoke City 3-0 and Arsenal lost 1-0 at home to Chelsea.

Manchester City also gained from the Gunners’ loss as their exciting 2-2 draw at West Ham saw them move up to second courtesy of goal difference.

Elsewhere, there were wins for Swansea City, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Watford and Southampton, who defeated Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford thanks to a debut goal from substitute Charlie Austin.

But in another round of entertaining matches, who were the top performers?

5. Odion Ighalo (Watford)

Ighalo has 14 Premier League goals this season.

The Watford star once again picked up the man-of-the-match award as he scored one and assisted another as the Hornets ended a run of four straight league defeats with a 2-1 win against Newcastle.

Within a minute of the second half, the Nigerian raced through to collect Troy Deeney’s pass, rounded Rob Elliot and put the home side 1-0 up.

Ten minutes later and the 26-year-old was involved again, holding off Magpies captain Fabricio Coloccini while juggling the ball, before laying it off for Craig Cathcart to hammer home.

Although Jamaal Lascelles pulled a goal back for the way side, Quique Sanchez Flores’ men held on for a victory which sent them up to 10th in the table.
