Riyad Mahrez’s fine strike gave Leicester City a massive 1-0 away win at Watford, moving them five points clear at the top of the Premier League.

This came after Tottenham Hotspur drew 2-2 at home to ten-man Arsenal, with Alexis Sanchez grabbing the equaliser for the Gunners.

Elsewhere; there were wins for West Ham United, Manchester City, AFC Bournemouth, Swansea City, Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion.

But in a week of close scorelines, who were the top performers?

Here’s Shoot’s Top 5 Players of the Weekend…..

A rock in defence, the centre-back dealt with everything thrown his way and put in many tackles which denied the home side attacking opportunities.

The victory leaves Jurgen Klopp’s side just six points of the Champions League places, with 30 points still to play for.
