Despite starting on the bench, Mane was the hero as his Southampton side came from two goals down to beat Liverpool 3-2.
Before his heroics began, one of the winger’s first contributions was to miss a spot-kick which would have reduced the scoreline to 2-1.
But it wasn’t long until the Senegal international made amends as he fired past Reds goalkeeper Simon Mignolet to pull one back for the hosts.
After striker Graziano Pelle had equalised, the super sub won the game for Ronald Koeman’s side with four minutes remaining, capitalising on some poor defending to finish strongly past Mignolet once again.
