3. Riyad Mahrez (Leicester City)

Mahrez scores Leicester’s second goal in their 3-1 win over Manchester City at the Etihad.

The Algeria international was once again in scintillating form, scoring and assisting for the third time in a game this season as Leicester recorded an incredible 3-1 victory away to Manchester City.

The 24-year-old gave the Foxes the lead after just three minutes when his right sided free-kick was met by Robert Huth, who bundled the ball in.

In the second half, the France-born winger scored his 15th goal of the season as he collected N’Golo Kante’s pass, beat Martin Demichelis with a neat drop of the shoulder, before firing past Joe Hart with his right foot.

Claudio Ranieri’s team’s win moved them five points clear at the top of the table in the process.
