Leicester City extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to seven points as they beat Southampton 1-0 at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.

This came after Tottenham could only manage a 1-1 draw at Liverpool the day before.

Elsewhere; there were wins for Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and Norwich City.

But as the Foxes close in on an incredible triumph, who were the top performers?

Here’s Shoot’s Top 5 Players of the Weekend…

5. Alex Iwobi (Arsenal)

The Nigeria international was in fine form as his Arsenal side romped to a 4-0 win at home to Watford.

Iwobi has now scored in back-to-back Premier League appearances for Arsenal.

The 19-year-old Iwobi caused countless problems to the Hornets’ defence with his direct running and quick movement.

He doubled his side’s advantage with a tidy finish before the break and was only denied a second by the woodwork.
