Argentina international Lamela was in fine form as Spurs recorded a comfortable 3-0 win over Manchester United.

One-nil up via Dele Alli, the 24-year-old winger then set up Tottenham’s second, as Toby Alderweireld headed home his perfectly executed out-swinging free-kick.

The former Roma star then scored a goal to seal the points as he swept home Danny Rose’s low cross from just inside the area.
