After celebrating his 20th birthday last week, the youngster’s superb season continued as he also claimed a brace at the Britannia.
Already 1-0 up at half time, Alli latched onto Christian Eriksen’s brilliant first time pass to lift the ball over the onrushing Stoke goalkeeper, Shay Given.
The England international then missed a guilt-edged chance after rounding the former Republic of Ireland number one, seeing his effort rebound off the post, but he soon made amends for this as he volleyed home from Eriksen’s cross.
