1. Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool)

The diminutive attacker stole the show at the Emirates Stadium as his two goals helped Liverpool to come from behind to beat Arsenal 4-3.

Trailing due to a Theo Walcott strike on the half-hour mark, Brazilian Coutinho sent the two sides into the break all-square with a sensational free-kick from 25-yards out which nestled into the top corner.

After Adam Lallana had put Jurgen Klopp’s men ahead, Liverpool’s fans and players’ Player of the Season for the last two years scored his second goal of the afternoon as he timed his run to perfection to convert from close-range after excellent work by Nathaniel Clyne down the right wing.

The only blotch on his copybook was withdrawing from play with 20 minutes remaining with cramp when his presence would have surely seen the Reds close out the game in a far more controlled manner.
