The uncapped Frenchman continued his rich vein of form with another impressive performance as his side went down 2-1 at Arsenal.

Kante impressed once again with his high number of tackles and interceptions, as more comparisons were made with him and Chelsea stalwart Claude Makelele.

At a snip of just £5.6m, many people are rightly putting the 24-year-old’s name forward as the signing of the season as he looks to push for France’s Euro 2016 squad.
