5. Roberto Firmino (Liverpool)

The Brazilian opened the scoring and finished the rout as Liverpool dispatched champions Leicester City 4-1 in their first game at the redeveloped Anfield.

The 24-year-old was found by James Milner on the edge of the area, before taking the ball away from Robert Huth, giving himself enough space to pick out the bottom left corner to put the Reds one up.

Despite a horrendous error from Lucas Leiva which gifted Jamie Vardy a goal, Jürgen Klopp’s men ripped apart the Foxes which was exemplified when Sadio Mane rounded Kasper Schmeichel from 40 yards before finding Firmino who finished into an empty net.
