After a difficult start to life on Merseyside, Lallana is enjoying a new lease of life under Jürgen Klopp as he starred in Liverpool’s 5-1 win at home to Hull City on Saturday.

The England international opened the scoring midway through the first-half as he collected a ball from Philippe Coutinho in the area, before scuffing a strike into the bottom corner.

His neat turn on the edge of the area gave him space to find Sadio Mane, who fired in low to make it 3-0 and the 28-year-old England international grabbed another assist as his pass found Coutinho, who scored a spectacular goal for 4-1.

His first-half strike now means he has scored four goals in his last eight league games, a total which took him 42 games previously as he looks to have been reinvigorated under manager Klopp.
