Leeds continued their impressive start on their return to the top-flight with a 3-0 win at an Aston Villa side who had won their first four matches. The Whites’ hero on Friday night was Patrick Bamford. Many questioned whether the 27-year-old could cut it in the Premier League but he again proved the doubters wrong with a hat-trick at Villa Park. The striker notched all three goals in the second half to take him to six for the campaign to date.
