Alli has been in fine form and could start for England at Euro 2016 on current form.

Had Leicester not been leading the Premier League, the emergence of Dele Alli would probably be the greatest story of the season.

This time last year, he was playing in League One for Milton Keynes Dons and lighting up the league. A £5 million transfer fee gave Tottenham fans belief that he was a future prospect, but nobody thought he would be as good as this.

After breaking into the Spurs team and retaining his place with a run of stellar performances, the 19-year-old was given an England call-up.

The youngster scored a screamer against France on his full senior debut and has continued to be a crucial part of Tottenham’s title-challenging campaign, scoring seven times in 22 appearances and assisting on eight occasions during those matches.
