Despite his critics, Adebayor has cut it at the highest level on several occasions.

Having played for Arsenal, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Tottenham, it may be somewhat surprising to learn that no club has yet approached the Togo international.

Whilst the majority of his spells have ended with frustration or fallouts, he does have 97 Premier League goals to his name.

Cagliari, Celtic and Hull City are rumoured to be potentially interested in the 32-year-old, and although he couldn’t persuade Alan Pardew to offer him a contract at Crystal Palace, the ex-Eagles forward would be a great addition to any squad looking for a striker who will score a minimum of at least ten goals a season.
