4. John Carver vs Graham Barrow

John Carver was unhappy at a challenge made by Wigan’s Callum McManaman, so he decided to approach him as they walked off at half-time. The feisty Geordie was met by Wigan coach Graham Barrow. Before a mass of people swarmed to stop the situation getting out of hand, Barrow was shepherded toward the tunnel where the brawl began again as Carver went back for seconds. The stewards broke it up and both coaches were red carded.
