One of the most drawn out transfer sagas of the summer should come to an end by deadline day as Valencia have now given the go ahead for Mustafi to complete his move to Arsenal.
The fee for the German international is believed to be around £26m, which should just about fit in to the Gunners’ transfer budget.

The 24-year-old will be a great addition to Arsene Wenger’s squad and will help to ease their defending crisis following long-term injuries to both Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista.
The Gunners are exploring alternatives however, including West Brom’s Jonny Evans, just in case this one takes another unexpected turn.
