4) Birmingham City

Birmingham boss Gary Rowett has been receiving lots of admiring glances from other clubs.

Currently occupying one of the play-off places, Birmingham have been one of the surprise packages in the Championship so far.

Having finished in 10th place last season, the Midlands side looked as though they were quickly becoming a standard mid-table side year in, year out.

For 2015/16, Gary Rowett’s side were again predicted to comfortably avoid a relegation dogfight, but having been both backed financially over the summer and getting off to a great start this season, the Blues should be able to push for a top-half finish, and possibly more.
