1. Protests from Hull City supporters

Since promotion to the Premier League via the Championship play-offs in May, things have gone from bad to worse for Hull.

Not only is their managerial position still vacant since Steve Bruce’s departure, but the Tigers are also yet to sign a player and have lost Mohamed Diame and Sone Aluko to Championship sides.

If you add to this an injury list that includes Michael Dawson, Moses Odubajo, Alex Bruce, Harry Maguire and Allan McGregor, it is hardly surprising that there is so much unrest from their supporters.

One thing is for certain though, the Tigers are in turmoil and things will be looking very grim for them on the opening weekend.

They face champions Leicester City and what should have been a memorable day for the fans will turn into yet more protests against the club’s owners.
