Unhappy at boyhood club Barcelona, Pedro wanted a move from the Nou Camp. This led to a lot of rumours to what team he would sign for. After weeks of reported negotiations, it looked like the Spanish winger would be heading to Old Trafford and would sign for Manchester United. This was until Chelsea swooped in to snatch the 28-year-old’s signature whilst United were “sleeping” on the deal, according to Pedro’s agent.
