Torino have joined Everton in the race for Diego Falcinelli.

According to a report on TalkSPORT the Sassuolo striker is a man in demand after an impressive season on loan at Crotone.

Although Crotone ended up relegated to Serie B, Falcinelli made a big impression with 13 goals from 35 appearances.

That form caught the attention of Tony Pulis but the West Brom boss faces competition from Torino who are preparing for the exit of Andrea Belotti.

Pulis has identified bringing in additional striking options after last season’s struggles in front of goal ended with Salomon Rondon as top Premier League scorer with just eight goals.

Sassuolo are likely to cash in on the 25-year-old after he hit the best scoring form of his career, the previous season Falcinelli scored just twice in Serie A from 11 starts and 15 substitute appearances.

Everton have also been credited with an interest in Falcinelli with Ronald Koeman planning ahead for the departure of Romelu Lukaku.
