Tottenham Hotspur will hope to stay in the race for the top four when they face Luton Town on Saturday.

The Lilywhites currently sit fifth in the Premier League table, three points behind Aston Villa, but do have a game-in-hand over the Villans.

Manager Ange Postecoglou has enjoyed a largely successful first season in English football, and the Australian will be desperate to see his side finish the campaign strongly and secure their place in next season’s Champions League.

In the meantime, though, Spurs have been dealt an injury blow.

As reported by Football Insider, winger Manor Solomon is set to miss the remainder of the season after suffering an injury setback.

The Israeli joined Tottenham last summer following the expiry of his contract with Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk, having spent the previous season on loan at fellow Premier League side Fulham.

Solomon has been hampered by injuries this season

Since joining the North London club, Solomon has made just six appearances across all competitions, providing two assists but failing to score a single goal.

The winger has been sidelined since September due to a meniscus injury, and the report claims that the Israel international is unlikely to feature again this season after undergoing knee surgery last week.

Solomon is said to have started his rehabilitation, but won’t recover in time to play again this term.

Last season, the winger scored five times during an impressive loan spell with the Cottagers, but he was unable to carry that form into his time with Spurs before suffering his serious injury.

The player’s current contract is set to run until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, but it remains to be seen whether he will remain with the club until then.
