Tottenham have reportedly begun talks with Fulham over the signing of teenage striker Moussa Dembele, according to the Daily Mail.
The Premier League side, who lost 1-0 at home to Leicester City on Wednesday night, have been long-term admirers of the Championship starlet.
The 19-year-old, who is a France Under-20 international, has scored nine league goals in 24 appearances for the Cottagers this season.
Dembele, who started his career at defending Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, is wanted at White Hart Lane by Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino to help ease the goalscoring burden upon England international Harry Kane’s shoulders.
It is thought that Tottenham have informed Fulham that they are willing to allow one of their fringe players head in the opposite direction to sweeten the deal.
Spurs’ pursuit of Dembele could halt their long-standing interest in West Brom forward Saido Berahino.
