Tottenham fail in loan approach for PSG’s 18-year-old striker

Tottenham have reportedly been knocked back in their attempts to sign France youth international Jean-Kevin Augustin, according to France Football.

The Premier League side, who defeated Crystal Palace 3-1 on Saturday, are understood to have a loan offer for the Paris Saint-Germain starlet rejected this month.

The 18-year-old, who is a France Under-18 international, has scored one goal in six league appearances for the defending Ligue 1 champions this season.

Augustin, who is highly-rated by PSG boss Laurent Blanc, is wanted by Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino for the remainder of the campaign as back-up for England international Harry Kane.
