Tottenham Hotspur boss Thomas Frank will hope to east the pressure on him when his side host struggling West Ham United on Saturday.

The Dane took charge of the Lilywhites ahead of the current campaign but has since endured a difficult tenure in north London.

Spurs have won just seven of their 21 Premier League games and currently sit 14th in the top flight standings – nine places behind Frank’s former side Brentford – with their home form a particular concern.

West Ham, however, have also been in dire form this term and currently occupy one of the relegation spots, which may give Frank confidence that his side can return to winning ways on Saturday.

Ahead of the game, however, it has emerged that Tottenham have made a shock move in relation to one of the Hammers’ most important players.

As per indykaila News, Tottenham have contacted West Ham asking to be kept informed about the future of Jarrod Bowen.

The 29-year-old joined West Ham from Championship side Hull City in 2020 and has since established himself as one of the best players in the Hammers’ recent history.

In total he has made 261 appearances for the east London outfit across all competitions, scoring 80 goals and providing 53 assists.

He netted the winner as West Ham – then under David Moyes – defeated Italian side Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final in 2023.

Bowen’s current contract with West Ham isn’t set to expire until the end of the 2029/30 campaign, but it is claimed that the England international is expected to depart The London Stadium this summer, with the Hammers at serious risk of being relegated to the Championship.

The Englishman is expected to start for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side when they visit Tottenham on Saturday afternoon.
