Tottenham are reportedly keeping close tabs on League One starlet James Maddison, according to the Telegraph.

The Premier League side, who currently sit fourth in the standings, have been linked alongside Arsenal and Liverpool in making a January move for the highly-rated Coventry City attacking midfielder.

The 19-year-old, who came through the Sky Blues’ youth academy, has scored twice and assisted three goals in eight league games for Tony Mowbray’s side this season.

Maddison, who has been with Coventry since he was just seven-years-old, was watched closely by Spurs chief scout David Pleat during the League One club’s 1-1 draw against Walsall on Tuesday.
