Tottenham have reportedly join the race to sign Scotland international forward Matt Ritchie this summer, according to The Sun.

The Premier League side, who currently sit second in the English top-flight’s standings, five points adrift of surprise league leaders Leicester City with only seven games remaining, are thought to have joined rivals Chelsea and Manchester in scouting the AFC Bournemouth winger.

The 26-year-old, who has seven international caps for his country, has scored three goals and provided six assists in 35 appearances in all competitions for the newly promoted outfit so far this season.

Ritchie, who only cost the Cherries £400,000 from League One side Swindon Town back in January 2013, has become a reported target for Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino following his impressive performances at Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth this term.

The forward, who has found the back of the net 30 times in his 123 league games for the south coast side, only put pen to paper on a new three-and-a-half year deal at the Vitality Stadium last January.
