Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to enter the race to sign England international defender Michael Keane this summer, according to The Telegraph.

The Premier League side, who face league leaders Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Emirates FA Cup at Wembley Stadium this weekend, have been linked with the impressive Burnley centre-half ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

The 24-year-old, who has two international caps for his country after making his Three Lions bow against Germany only last month, has scored two goals and provided one assist in 37 appearances in all competitions for The Clarets so far this season.

Keane, who began his senior career with Manchester United, is set to leave Turf Moor at the end of the current 2016-17 term.

The report suggests former club United are interested in re-signing the defender, who has shone for Burnley since his £2m permanent switch back in January 2015, since netting seven times in 106 games and winning the 2016 Championship title.
