Tottenham Hotspur are keeping close tabs on Italian defender Adam Masina, according to the Mirror.

The Premier League side, who were pinned back to a 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, have been linked with the Bologna left-back ahead of the January transfer window, should they lose fellow full-back Danny Rose.

Masina, 23, pictured above in action with former AS Roma forward Mohamed Salah last term, is a former Italy Under-21 international, and has made 14 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit so far this season.

Tottenham’s Danny Rose.

The report suggests Spurs are tracking the Italian’s performances this campaign, with the club bracing themselves for Rose’s exit, with Premier League rivals Manchester United favourites to land the England international in the New Year.

Masina, who has been tipped for his first senior Azzurri call-up, has little over 18 months remaining on his current contract, and is thought to also be interesting La Liga side Sevilla.

He is valued at around £3.6m by transfermarkt.
