Tottenham could be tempted in making a move for France international forward Kevin Gameiro, according to the Mirror.

The Premier League side, who currently sit third in the top-flight standings and advanced into the FA Cup quarter-finals after defeating Fulham 3-0 on Sunday, have been linked with a move for the Atletico Madrid striker this summer.

The 29-year-old, who has 12 international caps for his country, has scored 12 goals and provided six assists in 34 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga outfit so far this season.

Gameiro, who joined Atletico back in July 2016 following his reported £35m switch from Spanish rivals Sevilla, still has more than three years remaining on his current deal.

However, the report suggests the club are ready to listen to offers for the French forward come the end of the current 2016-17 campaign, with fellow countryman Antoine Griezmann very much manager Diego Simeone’s number one option up front.

Gameiro was part of the Sevilla squad that won three successive UEFA Europa League titles (2014, 2015, 2016).
