Tottenham Hotspur return to action when they face North London rivals Arsenal on Sunday.

The Lilywhites didn’t play during the most recent round of fixtures, allowing Aston Villa to take advantage and move a step closer to securing fourth place in the Premier League.

Spurs now sit six points behind the Villans, but they do boast two games-in-hand over Unai Emery’s side.

Ange Postecoglou will be desperate to see his side finish the season strongly and qualify for next term’s Champions League, but in the meantime it appears that the North London club are already planning ahead for this summer’s transfer window.

According to GIVEMESPORT, Tottenham are considering a move for Luton Town defender Gabriel Osho.

The centre-back has played a key role for a Hatters side that have battled bravely against relegation so far this term, but his impressive displays have alerted Spurs.

Osho has impressed for Luton this season

Osho joined Luton as a free agent in 2020, and featured regularly as Rob Edwards’s side were promoted from the Championship last term.

This season, the 25-year-old has played 19 times across all competitions including 17 Premier League games, although the defender has been hampered by two knee injuries.

Osho is currently sidelined but is hopeful of returning before the season finishes, although his current contract is set to expire this summer and the Nigerian could therefore be available as a free agent.

Spurs are searching for potential free transfers as they look to bolster Postecoglou’s defensive options, with Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo and Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly other options that are being considered, the report claims.

Tottenham could face competition for the centre-back, though, with fellow Premier League sides Aston Villa and Fulham also said to be interested in the player.
