Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason could join Bournemouth in a £6million deal this summer, according to the London Evening Standard.

The 24-year-old has struggled to find much playing time for Spurs in their title-challenging campaign, making 27 appearances in total this term, with the majority of those coming from the substitutes’ bench, and could look to depart White Hart Lane in search of a new challenge.

Those lack of minutes for the one-time England international has caught the attention of Cherries boss Eddie Howe, who is keen to strengthen his squad during the close season with Premier League football guaranteed again next year after a successful maiden year in the top flight.

The south coast outfit are ready to launch a £6million bid for the Enfield-born midfielder, but Tottenham are confident they can obtain more for their youth product, especially considering they sold winger Andros Townsend to Newcastle United for double that in January.
