Tottenham are reportedly plotting a summer raid for Turkey international Yunus Malli, according to German newspaper Kicker (via TalkSport).

The Premier League title contenders, who currently lie five points adrift of leaders Leicester City in second spot and play Borussia Dortmund in their UEFA Europa League last-16 second-leg tie at White Hart Lane on Thursday night, have been scouting the Mainz playmaker this term.

The 24-year-old; who has two international caps for his country and is set to feature for Turkey later this year at Euro 2016, has scored an impressive 10 goals in 26 league games for the Bundesliga outfit so far this season, including two assists.

However Malli, who began his career at German rivals Borussia Monchengladbach, is also said to be attracting interest from Dortmund and La Liga outfit Valencia following his impressive performances this campaign.

But Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has sent scouts out to assess Malli’s displays and hopes to beat those fellow potential suitors to his signature this summer, especially should the London club win the Premier League title come May.
