The transfer window slammed shut for Premier League clubs on Monday night, with plenty of incomings and outgoings announced on deadline day.

Reigning champions Liverpool continued their record breaking summer of spending by confirming the signing of striker Alexander Isak from Newcastle United, for a fee of £125 million.

Chelsea also completed a deadline day move, with winger Facundo Buonanotte arriving on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion for the remainder of the current campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur completed the signing of forward Randal Kolo Muani on Monday, with the France international joining the Lilywhites on loan for the rest of the season.

Now, it has emerged that the North London side are already plotting a move for a midfielder when the window reopens in January.

As per CaughtOffside, Spurs are interested in Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White.

The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from The City Ground for some time now, but he dampened speculation earlier this summer when he signed a new three-year contract with Forest.

Gibbs-White joined Forest from fellow Premier League side Wolves back in 2022 and has since played more than 120 times for the club across all competitions, scoring 18 goals and providing 29 assists.

So far this season Gibbs-White has started all three of Forest’s Premier League matches, providing one assist.

The attacking midfielder was handed his England debut last year, and has now been capped four times by the Three Lions at senior level.

While the Englishman has recently committed his future to Forest, the report claims that he could reconsider his stance in the new year.

Aston Villa, West Ham United and Newcastle United are also all credited with an interest in the midfielder, who can also play on the right flank.
