Tottenham are reportedly closing in on a £22m deal for Bayer Leverkusen forward Heung-Min Son.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has been desperate to strengthen his attacking options over the summer with Roberto Soldado departing and Emmanuel Adebayor unsettled, leaving him with Harry Kane as his only available first-team striker.

The North London club have also been bidding for West Brom’s Saido Berahino, but it is unclear whether the South Korea international is an alternative or in addition to the Baggies attacker.

The 23-year-old made 42 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit last term, scoring an impressive 17 goals and providing four assists.
