Tottenham Hotspur continue their pre-season preparations with a game against Lion City Sailors on Wednesday.

Spurs’ last match – against Leicester City on Sunday – was postponed at very short notice due to torrential rain in Bangkok.

Manager Ange Postecoglou will be keen to prepare his side for the upcoming season, but one of his key players is once again being linked with a move away from the club.

As per Football Insider, striker Harry Kane would prefer a move to Manchester United over the prospect of joining Bayern Munich.

The report claims that Tottenham are now open to the idea of selling the forward, despite insisting for months that the England international isn’t for sale.

Kane continues to be linked with a move away from Tottenham

Kane, 29, has established himself as one of the best strikers in the world in recent seasons, and has recently broken the all-time scoring record for both Tottenham and England.

In total, the ex-Millwall loanee has scored 280 goals in 435 matches for Spurs across all competitions, as well as netting 58 times in 84 games for his country.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for Kane for much of the summer, but it had previously looked more likely that the player would join Bayern Munich.

The Red Devils lost Cristiano Ronaldo back in November and haven’t yet signed a permanent replacement, although Wout Weghorst did join on loan from Burnley in January.

The Dutchman failed to score a single goal for United in the Premier League, and has now returned to Turf Moor.

Despite previously insisting that the player was not for sale, Spurs have now decided that they would be willing to sell Kane this summer if he doesn’t sign an extension to his current contract, which is due to expire next summer.

It is also claimed that German champions Bayern are expected to launch a third bid soon, set to be worth around £100 million.
