Brazilian outfit Corinthians are reportedly expecting a January move from Tottenham for star striker Alexandre Pato.

The Premier League side, who lie in the table following their 2-2 draw with Swansea City last weekend, are eager to bring in another forward in the New Year to help shoulder the goalscoring burden forced upon England international Harry Kane.

The 26-year-old, who has 28 international caps for Brazil, scored 13 goals in 34 appearances in all competitions for Sao Paulo last season during his loan spell.

Despite Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino already bringing in fellow forwards Clinton N’Jie and Heung-Min Son during the summer transfer window, it is thought that the former Argentina international still wants another out-and-out striker at White Hart Lane this term.

Pato is most notably known for his fruitful spell with Serie A giants AC Milan between 2007 and 2012, where the Brazil ace scored 63 goals in 150 appearances.
